Starting with day 10: FANTASY CASTING!
OK, so I’m cheating a little, because way back in the day I did fantasy casting for UNBROKEN, and included my picks for Lacey and Daniel… But even though I thought long and hard about who could fill the shoes this time around, I came up with exactly the same selection. What can I say? Once I got them in mind, there was no shifting them, and now I think they’re even more perfect to tell a story of their own!
LACEY: Amanda Seyfried.
Lacey is fun-loving and spontaneous, always up for a good time. She was always the crazy one dragging Juliet out of her shell, but once we get to know Lacey better in Unwrapped, we get to see below the surface. It turns out she’s having a hard time adjusting to life after college, trying to make her way without her bFF, and there’s more to her than meets the eye.
I think Amanda would be amazing at capturing the devil-may-care attitude, but also showing Lacey’s vulnerability and tenderness.
Armie is such a cutie, he totally rocks the preppy clean-cut boyfriend look, but I think there’s some passion lurking under there too, which is definitely required once they get snowed in and things heat up with Lacey! Yum!
